Diastasis recti & abdominal pressure
Rebuilding the deep core safely — understanding abdominal separation, managing pressure day to day, and progressing from breath work to genuine strength.
Postnatal Pilates · at your home · De Beauvoir Town, Hackney, London Fields, Clapton & Dalston
Diastasis recti, pelvic floor recovery, C-section scar tissue and postpartum strength — one-to-one, in your living room, with your baby right there and zero studio logistics.
Postnatal & expecting mums
Your postnatal body isn't a broken version of your old one — it's a body that's done something enormous, and it deserves a plan built around where it is now. Together we work through diastasis recti and abdominal pressure, pelvic floor recovery, C-section scar tissue, and general postpartum core and strength rebuilding — always at the pace your body sets, never a generic class plan.
Because sessions happen in your own home across De Beauvoir Town, Hackney, London Fields, Clapton and Dalston, there's no commute to organise and no studio logistics with a newborn in tow. Your baby can be right there with us — feeding pauses and nap windows are simply part of how the session flows.
What we work on
Rebuilding the deep core safely — understanding abdominal separation, managing pressure day to day, and progressing from breath work to genuine strength.
Careful, graded work around pelvic floor recovery and C-section scar tissue, so movement feels supportive rather than hurried.
Lifting children, pushing buggies, carrying car seats — we build the specific strength your days actually demand.
At-home sessions
A studio trip with a newborn is a project. I arrive, we work, and you're straight back to your day — the session fits into your life rather than around it.
Feeding pauses, nap windows, a baby on the mat beside us — home sessions bend around your reality instead of fighting it.
If you're expecting rather than postnatal, we adapt Pilates to each stage of pregnancy — keeping you strong and comfortable as your body changes.
Work with me
3 sessions to get to know each other and for you to get an understanding of how I work. All new clients start here; video homework keeps up the continuity between sessions.
One session every week of the month. Miss one and we'll arrange a catch-up.
FAQs
Most clients begin after their GP or midwife check (commonly around the 6–8 week mark), but every body and every birth is different. We always follow your medical team's guidance and start gently — the first sessions are about assessment, breath and reconnecting with your core, not intensity.
Yes — it's one of the most common things I work with postnatally. Sessions focus on managing abdominal pressure, retraining the deep core, and progressively rebuilding strength. Where a separation needs specialist input, I'll tell you honestly and help you find the right route.
Absolutely. We work around and gradually with scar tissue, always respecting your recovery and your surgical team's advice. Everything is graded, 1:1, and entirely at your pace.
That's one of the biggest perks of home sessions. Your baby can nap nearby or be right on the mat with us — we simply build pauses into the session as needed.
Very little — you just need a mat and some floor space. There's always the option to purchase other items down the line if the idea interests you.
Yes — safe, supportive movement adapted to each stage of pregnancy, alongside the postnatal work once your baby arrives.
All new clients start with the intro package — 3 sessions for £225. After that, most clients move to the monthly membership at £295: one session every week of the month, with a catch-up arranged if you ever miss one.
