Pilates for desk workers · at your home · Hackney, Islington, Dalston, London Fields & Clapton

Private Pilates for desk-bound professionals — at your home in Hackney & Islington.

Neck, shoulders, hips and lower back — an efficient, focused session that undoes hours of sitting and offsets the stress of the job. At your home, or over Zoom on WFH days.

Desk-bound & corporate

Undo the desk — before it undoes you

Hours of sitting shape how you stand, walk and breathe. Neck pathologies, rounded shoulders, rotator cuff issues, frozen shoulder and bursitis, tennis and golfer's elbow, tight hips and lower-back tension — these aren't separate problems to be patched one by one; they're patterns, and patterns can be retrained.

Sessions are one-to-one, in your own home across Hackney, Islington, London Fields, Clapton and Dalston (or over Zoom on work-from-home days). An efficient, focused workout that offsets the mental stress of the job and undoes hours spent sitting — building strength and mobility that carries into daily life, not just the sixty minutes we spend together.

What we work on

Desk-body issues I work with every week

Neck & shoulders

Neck pathologies, rounded shoulders and upper-back stiffness from screen posture — released and retrained, not just stretched.

Rotator cuff, frozen shoulder & bursitis

Graded, individual strategies to restore comfortable, confident shoulder movement.

Tennis & golfer's elbow

Why the elbow often isn't where the problem starts — and how we rebuild the chain that's overloaded it.

Tight hips & lower-back tension

The sitting trio: hips, hamstrings and lumbar spine. We restore length, then build the strength to keep it.

Breath & stress

How you breathe shapes how you move and how you feel — breath mechanics unlock tension the desk piles on.

Strength that survives your week

Targeted strength work so the change holds through Monday to Friday, not just after a session.

Fitting your day

A session that fits a working day

Time back in your day

No travelling to and from a studio either side of your session — I arrive, we work, and you're straight back to your day.

Your space, your kit

Sessions happen where you're most at ease — you just need a mat and some floor space. No waiting your turn.

Zoom on WFH days

Working from home that day? We move the session online without losing the personal, assessment-led approach.

FAQs

Questions new clients ask

I sit at a desk 8+ hours a day — can Pilates actually help?

Yes — this is core territory for 1:1 work. We look at how you actually sit, stand and walk (gait analysis included), find the patterns driving the tension, and rebuild strength and mobility that carries into your working week.

I have neck and shoulder pain from my desk — is that something you work with?

Every week. Neck pathologies, rounded shoulders, rotator cuff issues, frozen shoulder, bursitis and elbow complaints are all regulars in my studio — the studio just happens to be your living room.

Do I need equipment or much space at home?

No — you just need a mat and some floor space. There's always the option to purchase other items down the line if the idea interests you.

Can I do sessions over Zoom when I'm working from home?

Yes — Zoom sessions run the same assessment-led 1:1 format, so you can keep continuity on WFH days or if you're away.

What happens in a first session?

Assessment first: orthopedic-style testing, gait analysis and manual muscle testing to see how your body actually moves. Then we start the plan that fits you — not a generic program.

How much does it cost?

All new clients start with the intro package — 3 sessions for £225. After that, most clients move to the monthly membership at £295: one session every week of the month, with a catch-up arranged if you ever miss one.
